How to Play

  1. Press C for the Overview camera to see the maze and trace a route to the bay.
  2. Switch back to the Follow camera for the drive if you prefer a closer view.
  3. Drive the corridors at a controlled speed, slowing for each turn.
  4. If you hit a dead end, reverse out or turn around in a wider section.
  5. Park in the corner bay and hold still before the timer runs out.

Objective

Find your way through the maze and park in the bay in a far corner before the time limit runs out. The mazes grow from 5×4 cells on the first level to 9×7 on the last.

Each level is generated from a fixed seed, so its layout is the same every time you play. Learning the route is part of the game.

Levels: Five levels with fixed layouts that grow from 5×4 to 9×7 cells, adding more corridors and dead ends each time.

Scoring

Levels score +500 for parking, accuracy × 3 (up to +300), +10 per second under par, and −100 for each collision with a wall, with a floor of 0. Running out of time fails the level.

The scoring is an arcade mechanic and has nothing to do with real driving ability.

Tips for Parking Maze

  • Layouts never change for a given level, so remember the route after your first attempt.
  • Trace the path backward from the bay on the Overview camera; the correct route is often easier to spot from the end.
  • Walls count as collisions and cost 100 points each, so take corners slowly.
  • Reversing out of a dead end is slow; if you are unsure about a turn, check the overview before driving in.
  • The edge arrow points at the bay in a straight line, which can lead you toward a dead end; follow the corridors, not just the arrow.
  • Keep some time in hand for the final park, since the corner position can make the last approach tight.

Parking Maze FAQ

Is the maze different every time I play?

No. Each level is generated from a fixed seed, so it is the same every time. That means you can learn the route and bring your time down.

Where is the bay in Parking Maze?

In a far corner of the maze. Use the Overview camera (press C) or the arrow at the screen edge to see where it is.

What if I run out of time?

The level fails and Try Again restarts it. Points from levels you already completed in the run are kept.

How is this different from Daily Parking Challenge?

Parking Maze has five fixed maze layouts that never change. Daily Parking Challenge generates one new open-lot layout each day from your device's date.
