Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Play Parking ("we", "us") handles when you use playparking.xyz. We have written it to be accurate for the site as it currently works; if that changes, we will update this page.
Summary
- You don't need an account and we don't ask for your name, email or other personal details to play.
- Game progress, favorites and preferences are stored only in your own browser using localStorage. We cannot see this data.
- At the time of writing, the site does not load analytics or advertising scripts and does not set cookies.
- If we add analytics or advertising in the future, this policy and our cookie policy will be updated first and, where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent.
Data stored in your browser
To make the games more useful, the site stores small pieces of data in your browser's localStorage. They never leave your device unless you choose to share a result.
| Key | What it contains |
|---|---|
| pp_game_<game> | Your best score, best time, highest unlocked level and number of plays for that game. |
| pp_daily_<date> | Your best score and time for that day's Daily Parking Challenge. |
| pp_favorites | The games you marked as favorites. |
| pp_recent | The last few games you played (for the "Recently Played" list). |
| pp_prefs | Preferences such as light/dark theme, sound on/off and, if a consent choice is ever requested, that choice. |
You can delete this data at any time by clearing site data for playparking.xyz in your browser settings, or by using "Clear history" in the Recently Played section.
Server logs
Like any website, the hosting provider that serves our pages may automatically process technical information such as IP addresses, browser type and requested pages in server logs for security and reliability. We use this only for operating and protecting the site.
Sharing results
If you use "Share Result", your device's share sheet opens and you decide where the text goes. "Copy Result" copies text to your clipboard. We don't receive what you share.
Analytics and advertising (if enabled in future)
The site is prepared to support analytics and Google AdSense, but neither is active at the time of writing. If they are enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other websites, and to measure site usage. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You would be able to opt out of personalized advertising through Google's Ads Settings, and you can learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Where required (for example, for visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), we would request consent through a consent management tool before any non-essential cookies are used.
Children
The games are family-friendly, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Because no account or personal details are needed to play, the site does not ask for such information.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data. Since we don't hold personal data from playing the games, most requests can be handled by clearing your browser's site data. For anything else, contact us.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the "Last updated" date above.
