Editorial Policy
How we create, test and maintain the games and guides on Play Parking.
Originality
Our games, levels, artwork and articles are created for Play Parking. We don't copy commercial games or rewrite other publishers' articles. Basic parking mechanics are common to the genre, but our implementations, layouts, scoring systems and presentation are our own.
Written about the real games
Guides describe the actual behaviour of our games: the controls, angle tolerances, accuracy and time-bonus formulas, collision rules and level layouts. When a game changes, guides that describe it are reviewed and updated.
Human review
Every page is reviewed by a person before it is published. Reviewers check that instructions match the game, that claims are supported, and that the page is useful rather than padded.
AI-assisted drafting
We may use AI writing tools to help draft or edit text. AI-assisted drafts are never published automatically: a human editor checks each draft against the games themselves, removes anything inaccurate or unsupported, and is responsible for the final text. We don't use AI tools to mass-produce pages.
Game testing
Before a game or level is released we play it through on desktop and touch screens, check that every level can be completed, and verify steering, braking, reverse, collisions, parking detection, timers, scoring, pause, restart and success/failure states.
What we won't do
- Invent statistics, player numbers, reviews, ratings, awards, testimonials or partnerships.
- Present people as experts or instructors when they are not.
- Claim that arcade games improve real-world driving ability.
- Publish thin pages created only to rank in search engines.
Updates and corrections
We update content when games change or when we find something that could be clearer. If you spot an error, tell us. Confirmed factual errors are corrected promptly; significant corrections are noted on the page.
Copyright
We don't use vehicle manufacturer logos, commercial game branding, famous characters or screenshots of other games. External assets are only used when their license permits it and the license is recorded.
Advertising separation
Editorial decisions are not influenced by advertisers. Ads, when present, are labelled "Advertisement", kept apart from games and controls, and never styled to look like Play buttons or downloads.
Content is published by the Play Parking Editorial Team. See also our fact-checking policy.
