Precision Parking Games

Precision parking games care about the quality of the park, not just whether it counts. The angle tolerance drops from the usual 12° to 8°, and each game adds its own extra demand, whether that is a minimum accuracy score, a very narrow bay or a penalty for every wasted move.

The key skill is control at very low speed. Accuracy is 60% position, meaning how close the car's center is to the bay's center relative to the free space, and 40% angle. That means a car that is inside the lines but off center can still score poorly. These games reward straightening up before you enter the bay, using light pedal taps, and reading the HUD's live accuracy readout and status text. Our guide to parking accurately explains how to push that number up.

Each game in this category tests precision differently. Precision Parking sets a minimum accuracy for each of its five levels, rising from 50% to 80%, and will not finish the level until you reach it. Tight Parking shrinks the side margin from about 7 to 3 game units, adds reverse-in bays and allows only 3 collisions. Perfect Park is about economy: every switch between forward and reverse costs 25 points, and extra distance beyond the ideal route is penalized too.

Tips for Precision Parking Games

  • Straighten a car length before the bay; 8° leaves little room to fix the angle inside it.
  • Center the car front to back as well as side to side, since position is 60% of accuracy.
  • Use short pedal taps and let friction stop the car when fine-tuning.
  • Read the HUD status text: Angle off and Needs X% accuracy tell you exactly what to fix.

Frequently Asked Questions

What angle tolerance do precision games use?

8°, compared with the 12° used in most other games on the site.

What does Needs X% accuracy mean?

It appears in Precision Parking when you are in the bay but below that level's minimum accuracy. Move closer to center or straighten up until you reach it.

How do I get Perfect Park!?

Finish any level with 90% accuracy or more. It is a message on completion in every bay-based game, not only in the Perfect Park game.

Which precision game is best to start with?

Precision Parking, since its first level only needs 50% accuracy. Tight Parking and Perfect Park both expect a clean technique from the start.
